ADVANCED 128-SLICE CT SCAN MACHINE INAUGURATED AT DIVISIONAL RAILWAY HOSPITAL, HOWRAH

Milind Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway, inaugurated an advanced 128-slice CT Scan machine?the first of its kind in Eastern Railway?at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Howrah. The event was held in the presence of S. P. Singh, Additional General Manager/Eastern Railway, Dr. Aniruddha Kirtania, Principal Chief Medical Director/Eastern Railway and Sanjeev Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager/Howrah. Senior doctors, divisional officers, and hospital staff of Howrah Division were also present on the occasion.

The Radiology Department gave a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the features and capabilities of the 128-slice CT Scan machine. This state-of-the-art system is equipped for advanced diagnostics including 3D reconstruction, neuroimaging, cardiac CT, and ENT scans, in addition to routine brain, chest, abdomen, and orthopedic scans. This new facility is expected to significantly enhance diagnostic capabilities and will immensely benefit railway beneficiaries not only from Howrah Division but also from other divisions of Eastern Railway.

Speaking on the occasion,Milind Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway, stated that the introduction of this advanced CT Scan machine will play a vital role in the diagnosis of critical cases and support timely treatment. He expressed his satisfaction at the successful installation of such a modern diagnostic tool at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Howrah.
