Raseshwari Devi on World Meditation Day 2026 Announces Mega Meditation Camp and Wellness Infrastructure

On the occasion of World Meditation Day 2026, Raseshwari Devi announced two major initiatives aimed at promoting meditation, yoga, and inner wellness across India. The announcement includes the construction of a large Yoga and Meditation Hall in Odisha and a week-long Mega Meditation Camp scheduled to take place in Haridwar in June 2026.

The initiatives are being organized under the guidance of Braj Gopika Seva Mission, a spiritual and charitable institution founded by Raseshwari Devi Ji in 1998. According to the organization, the upcoming meditation centre near Tangi in Odishas Khurda district will accommodate more than 1,500 participants and function as a dedicated venue for meditation retreats, yogic training, spiritual education, and wellness programs. Organizers described the centre as part of a broader effort to create accessible spaces for individuals seeking emotional balance and spiritual discipline.

The announcement comes amid growing global discussions around mental health, stress management, and mindfulness practices. Meditation, traditionally known as Dhyana, within the Indian knowledge system, has increasingly gained international recognition as a method for improving emotional stability and overall well-being. While modern wellness communities often approach meditation from a psychological perspective, Indian spiritual traditions have historically viewed it as a pathway toward self-awareness and inner transformation.

For more than three decades, Raseshwari Devi Ji has been associated with promoting Rupadhyana meditation and devotional teachings rooted in Sanatan Vedic philosophy. Through spiritual discourses, meditation camps, and educational outreach programs, she has worked to make meditation practices accessible to students, professionals, families, and rural communities. Her organization also conducts annual youth-focused initiatives such as Yuva Utthan Shivir and Bal Sanskar Shivir, which emphasize ethical awareness, cultural values, emotional resilience, and spiritual understanding.

As part of the World Meditation Day observance, the Mission has also announced a Mega Meditation Camp to be held from 11 June to 17 June 2026 in Haridwar. Organizers estimate participation from nearly 2,500 seekers representing 14 Indian states as well as international attendees. The program is expected to include guided meditation sessions, yogic philosophy discussions, devotional practices, and workshops focused on integrating meditation into daily life.
