Influencer Anunay Sood Likely Died of Drug Overdose in Las Vegas: Report

Travel influencer Anunay Sood, 32, was found unresponsive in his room at the Wynn Las Vegas on November 4, and a suspected drug overdose is believed to be the cause of death, according to a report by 8NewsNow.

Police documents reviewed by the outlet show that officers discovered Sood with ?narcotics? near his body. A woman staying with him told investigators that around 4 am, the group bought what they believed was cocaine from a man on the casino floor. She said Sood, along with two women, consumed the substance before falling asleep. When the women woke about an hour later, Sood was unresponsive.

Police recovered a small bag containing a white powder and other evidence suggesting the group had snorted the substance.

Sood, who had over 1.5 million Instagram followers, was in Las Vegas to attend the Las Vegas Concours 2025 car show. His family confirmed his death last week on Instagram, requesting privacy and asking followers not to gather near their home.

The Clark County coroners office has listed the cause of death as pending. Toxicology results needed to determine if drugs were involved may take several months. No arrests have been made so far.
