Suspicious Drone Found Near India–Pakistan Border in Rajasthan; Security Agencies on Alert

A suspicious drone discovered near the India Pakistan border in Rajasthans Jaisalmer district has sparked serious security concerns. The device was found in the Ramgarh region, prompting immediate action from local authorities.

According to reports, a farmer working in a field in the Ramgarh canal area noticed an unusual object lying on the ground. Initially thinking it was a regular tool, he became suspicious after taking a closer look. The farmer quickly notified the police.

Police teams arrived at the location and cordoned off the entire area. The drone was taken into custody, and a search operation was carried out in the surrounding fields. Officers also questioned villagers to gather more information.

The location where the drone was found is just a few kilometers from the international border, raising the possibility that it may have entered Indian territory from Pakistan. However, officials have stated that only a thorough investigation will confirm the drone?s origin and purpose.

Following the discovery, security agencies have been placed on heightened alert. The Indian Army and Border Security Force (BSF) have been informed to intensify border surveillance.

In recent years, drone-related incidents in border areas have increased, with many cases involving the smuggling of narcotics, weapons, and surveillance equipment. This latest incident has once again highlighted the need for strict monitoring along the border.
